Time in Range is the percentage of time per day a person spends within target glucose range. The FreeStyle Libre systems◊ automatically calculate the percentage of time your patient spends in, above, or below target range.

Increased %TIR is correlated with reduced risk of diabetes related heart4, kidney3 and eye3 disease, as well as better peripheral nerve function5
HbA1c reflects average glucose over the last 2–3 months; it does not show glycaemic excursions of hyper- and hypoglycaemia.1
