To start a FreeStyle Libre 2 sensor with the FreeStyle LibreLink app, Bluetooth should be turned on. To receive alarms on your phone, your FreeStyle LibreLink app must be open or running in the background, phone and Sensor connected by Bluetooth, and phone Notifications enabled.
