Your patient needs to scan the Sensor after receiving a low or high glucose alarm to see glucose reading. Patients can do so by either tapping “Dismiss alarm and check glucose” or pressing the home button when receiving a low or high glucose alarm. If they do not tap “Dismiss alarm and check glucose” or press the home button within 15 seconds, they will get the scan timeout message. They can choose to scan their Sensor after receiving a signal loss alarm. They can do so by tapping “Yes” or the home button. If they do not scan their Sensor within 15 seconds of receiving the alarm, they will get the scan timeout message.
