What’s the difference between a FreeStyle Libre LibreLink and FreeStyle Libre 3 app and the LibreLinkUp app?

The FreeStyle LibreLink and FreeStyle Libre 3 app is designed to be used by people with diabetes to carry out routine glucose monitoring using a smartphone and a FreeStyle Libre 2 sensor or FreeStyle Libre 3 sensor. The LibreLinkUp app is designed to be used by family, friends, and caregivers. The app enables them to receive glucose data or glucose alarms on their smartphone. The LibreLinkUp app cannot be used to scan FreeStyle Libre sensors.
