Training options for your patients

Getting your patients started with the FreeStyle Libre 2 system starts with training.
Choose the route that best suits your patients' needs.

Your patients can get started with the FreeStyle Libre 2 system in their own time, at home.

How it works:

  • Download and share the self-start letter with your patient

    This letter contains all the information they need to get started and order their trial sensor. Alternatively, download the self-start text message if your surgery uses text messaging to communicate with your patients.

  • Order a FreeStyle Libre 2 sensor

    Patient orders their first free of charge sensor

  • Your patient orders their FreeStyle Libre 2 sensor which will be delivered directly to their chosen address within 7 days.

    When your patient receives their FreeStyle Libre 2 sensor, they will be directed to watch our online training video. After watching the video, your patients can download a certificate as proof of completion of training so you can prescribe FreeStyle Libre 2 sensors.
