Do my patients need to keep the App running in the background and if so, will that drain their phone battery?
Yes, it is required to keep the FreeStyle LibreLink◊ app running in the background. We have not seen a reduction in mobile phone battery life for FreeStyle Libre 2 users receiving real-time glucose readings.
