A patient is sleeping and the low glucose alarm goes off, the patient gets up (does not dismiss alarm) and goes to the kitchen which is more than 20ft (6 meters) away. Will the alarm continue to alarm once the patient crosses the 20 ft (6 meters) mark?
The alarm will continue to sound for 1 minute. If when signal is regained the condition still exists, the alarm will re-present. If the patient is further than 20ft (6 meters) for more than 20 minutes, the Signal Loss alarm will present.
