Can my patients perform a blood ketone test with the FreeStyle Libre 2 system?
Your patients can use the built-in meter on the FreeStyle Libre 2 Reader to check their blood ketone levels using FreeStyle Optium β ketone test strips (available on prescription). Your patients should perform a blood ketone test on theirr fingertip only. They should be sure to read the test strip instructions for use prior to using the built-in meter.
