The FreeStyle Libre 2 sensor and your patients phone must be within 20ft unobstructed of each other.
Important Information: if your patients start their FreeStyle Libre 2 sensor with their FreeStyle Libre 2 reader they will not receive real-time glucose readings, even if they use the updated FreeStyle LibreLink app as their second device. Your patients will need to scan to get their glucose reading on both devices. Glucose alarms^¤ are only received on the device used to start the sensor.

¤ Notifications will only be received when alarms are turned on and the sensor is within 20 feet unobstructed of the reading device. You must enable the appropriate settings on your smartphone to receive alarms and alerts, see the FreeStyle LibreLink User Manual for more information.
