Blood glucose trend indicators

Notifies your patients when result is lower than 3.9 mmol/L, higher than 13.3 mmol/L or the targets you set on the meter.

A blinking red arrow: A pattern of low glucose has developed. If 2 low results occur within the past 5 days AND both are within the same 3-hour time period, the meter will display a blinking (arrow towards below).

A blinking yellow arrow: A pattern of high glucose has developed. If 3 high results occur within the past 5 days AND all are within the same 3-hour time period, the meter will display a blinking (arrow towards up).

Insulin dose guide

For insulin‐using patients (basal and /or meal, or premixed), the FreeStyle Optium Neo system is designed as a guidance tool to help your patients take a more active role in their diabetes management.

Insulin dose logging

Allows patients to log actual dose amount in just a few taps and review previously logged insulin doses from the logbook. This helps your patients avoid taking the same dose twice.

How to use the lancing device

1. Remove lancing device cap

5. Set the depth setting

2. Insert lancet into lancet holder

6. Cock the slider

3. Twist off the lancet cover

7. Set your preferred test site

4. Replace the lancing device cap

8. Dispose of in accordance with local waste regulations
