My patients are new users of the FreeStyle Libre 2 system and the FreeStyle LibreLink app◊ and was presented with an “Allow Notifications” message during the app tutorial to Allow or Don’t Allow. What should they do?

If your patients wish to receive alarms¤ on their Android device, the Notifications permission must be set to Allow.

¤ Notifications will only be received when alarms are turned on and the sensor is within 6 meters unobstructed of the reading device.

◊ The FreeStyle LibreLink app is only compatible with certain mobile devices and operating systems. Please check our website for more information about device compatibility before using the app. Use of the FreeStyle LibreLink app may require registration with LibreView.
