Why are there new accuracy results for the FreeStyle Libre 2 Plus sensor (from the FreeStyle Libre 2 sensor)?
Abbott is continuously innovating and finding new ways to make diabetes management easier for people. Because modifications were made to the sensor, a new clinical accuracy study was required to establish performance of the modified sensor. The Libre 2 Plus sensor demonstrated an improved overall MARD of 8.2%.1 In addition, performance testing out to 15-day wear was conducted.
