The small, discreet sensor worn on the back of the arm continuously measures the glucose concentration in the body's interstitial fluid. It is worn for up to 14 days and is water-resistant so continues to work while patients shower, swim or exercise.₸ Patients can scan their sensor anytime,‡ anywhere,₸ even through clothing.
Patients can use the FreeStyle LibreLink app to scan their sensor to read their glucose levels and receive optional alarms. For a complete glycaemic picture, patients must scan their FreeStyle Libre 2 sensor every 8 hours.
The sensor is easily attached to the back of the upper arm. It can be worn up for 14 days.
Dose insulin, confirm hypo or impending hypo, and be alerted when glucose is rapidly changing — all without the need for finger pricks.
Patients can check their glucose anytime,‡ anywhere₸ with a simple 1-second scan even through clothing.
Unsurpassed accuracy overall — even in the low glucose range when it matters most, providing a reading every minute.
9.2% Overall MARD.3
The new optional glucose alarms can be set individually according to your patients’ needs.

The FreeStyle Libre 2 sensor is applied on the back of the upper arm using the applicator. Most FreeStyle Libre 2 system users have reported that applying the sensor was painless.5
With the FreeStyle LibreLink app◊ patients can scan their sensor to see their glucose readings.
Patients will be able to see their current glucose reading, 8-hours of data and a trend arrow that shows where their glucose levels are heading.
If set up, patients can receive custom alarms when their glucose levels are too high or too low.
The FreeStyle LibreLink app◊ allows patients to interpret their glucose data and help them make more informed diabetes management decisions.
Using LibreView,₼ our secure cloud-based system, patients can upload their data to share with their doctor and care team. You will be able to access more in-depth reports to support you in making treatment decisions for your patients.
