Error Message: Scan Sensor
This message means the sensor could not communicate with your reader or app. Try scanning again.
Please ask your patient to:
1. Check the Apple App Store or Google Play to ensure they have the most recent version. If necessary, they should update to the latest version.
2. Try scanning again.
- Hold the reader or smartphone against the sensor (for Apple phones, hold the top edge of the phone against the sensor; for Android phones, hold the back of the phone against the sensor)
- Remove thick clothing
- Move away from household appliances that emit electromagnetic waves (such as microwaves, Wi-Fi transmitters, baby monitors)
If your patient is still seeing the error after following these steps, the sensor will need to be replaced.
