This message means your sensor could not communicate with your app or smartphone.
- Please check the Apple App Store or Google Play to ensure you have the most recent version. If necessary, update to the latest version.
- Try scanning again.:
- Hold your smartphone against the sensor (for Apple phones, hold the top edge of the phone against the sensor; for Android phones, hold the back of the phone against the sensor)
- Remove thick clothing
- Move away from household appliances that emit electromagnetic waves (such as microwaves, Wi-Fi transmitters, baby monitors)
If you are still seeing the error after following these steps, the sensor will need to be replaced.
