Error Message: Scan Error

This message means your sensor could not communicate with your app or smartphone.

  1. Please check the Apple App Store or Google Play to ensure you have the most recent version. If necessary, update to the latest version.

  2. Try scanning again.:
    • Hold your smartphone against the sensor (for Apple phones, hold the top edge of the phone against the sensor; for Android phones, hold the back of the phone against the sensor)
    • Remove thick clothing
    • Move away from household appliances that emit electromagnetic waves (such as microwaves, Wi-Fi transmitters, baby monitors)

If you are still seeing the error after following these steps, the sensor will need to be replaced.
