Scanning your sensor

You only need to scan your sensor to activate it or during signal loss. After that,* readings are automatically sent to the app every minute.^

How to scan your sensor:
  1. Open the FreeStyle LibreLink app on your smartphone.
    iPhone: Tap the scan button. 

  2. iPhone: Touch the sensor with the top of your iPhone.
    Android: Hold the back of the Android smartphone near the sensor and position the Near Field Communication (NFC) antenna over the sensor.

  3.  iPhone: Do not move your iPhone until you hear a tone and/or feel a vibration.
    Android: Continue holding your smartphone near the sensor until you hear a second tone and/or feel a vibration.
