Starting your FreeStyle Libre 2 Plus sensor

with the FreeStyle LibreLink app

1. Open the FreeStyle LibreLink app^◊ on your smartphone.
   iPhone: Tap the scan button. 
   
   
2. iPhone: Touch the sensor with the top of your iPhone.
   Android: Hold the back of the Android smartphone near the sensor and position the Near Field Communication (NFC) antenna over the sensor.
   
   
3.  iPhone: Do not move your iPhone until you hear a tone and/or feel a vibration.
   Android: Continue holding your smartphone near the sensor until you hear a second tone and/or feel a vibration.

with the Libre 2 reader

1.   Press the home button to turn on the FreeStyle Libre 2 reader.
   
   
2.   Press "Start a new sensor"
   
   
3. Keep the FreeStyle Libre 2 reader within 1 cm of the sensor.
   If sounds and vibrations are turned on, the FreeStyle Libre 2 reader will beep and vibrate when the sensor has been detected.
   
   
4. The sensor may be used to check your glucose after 60 minutes.
